Что бы там ни говорили, а Coldplay сегодня и в самом деле надежа и опора брит-рока с тех пор, как флагманы жанра Oasis сбавили оборты и ушли в тихую гавань. Стильная и очень интеллигентная музыка этих лондонцев в самый раз подходит тем, для кого понятие "гитарный рок" совсем не обязательно означает истерику и максимальную громкость.
И вот Coldplay выпутили свой новый альбом "X&Y", уже признанный музыкальными критиками одним из самых громких релизов 2005 года. Новая пластинка вышла спустя 3 года после альбома "A Rush of Blood To The Head" получившего престижные премии Brit и Grammy. Продюсерами новой работы стали сами музыканты Coldplay, а также Дентон Саппл (Danton Supple, продюсировавший Morrisey и Elbow) и Кен Нельсон (Ken Nelson, работавший с Badly Drawn Boy, Kings of Convenience).
Следует заметить, что выход очередного, третьего альбома группы предваряется весьма занятной историей. Оказывается, их выпускающий лейбл, EMI, пообещал участникам группы кругленькую сумму, если они выпустят альбом в указанные им сроки. Для нас творчество важнее денег", - решил лидер коллектива Крис Мартин и не спеша довел музыкальный труд до логического конца. Есть еще, оказывается, в бурном мире шоу-бизнеса настоящие художники. Ну что же, проверим, что у них получилось...

вам просто надо уяснить одну простую вещь: я создаю темы не для того, что вы тут гадили, и не для того чтобы писали всякую хню! а для того, чтобы люди кому ДЕЙСТВИТЕЛЬНО нравиться данная музыка могли качать и обсуждать её здесь, без вашего лишнего дерьма на страницах.
неужели это так сложно понять? 
гляньте на любой музыкальный форум, там всё чиннно мирно, никто не говорит, группа гавно и идите ваще вы все на хуй!  там люди культурнее вас сидят, а вам по фих, вы всё равно сидите и срёте там где живёте.

У меня был альбом Parachutes. Мне показалось, что это брит-поп, а не брит-рок.
