Recue - Riku Annala, an electronic musician/producer born (in 1980) and raised in Finland. Twiddling with musical instruments since a teenager. Guitar, drums, trackers, synths, couple of minor band projects, collaborations, remixes done with pure passion for making music in all its forms rather than education or training.
After making music just for own amusement numerous of years, an idea of playing live came up. Recues first release Between Stations was created from the live experimentations and the material prepaired for gigs. It was released through a Louisville based netlabel, One. The EP is described as ambient, dub and idm influenced. Though those genres might have projected the moods at the time, the next moves might be something completely different. Genres arent so important in the constanlty ongoing creation process in his home studio. Yet wide soundscapes, evolving melodies and tripping beats tend to be the key.
At the moment Recue has just finished his second release 'All the Wrong Places' that will be out on Rednetic Recordings in the near future...
